Mexican writer Carlos Fuentes dies at 83
Paula David - Fourth Estate Cooperative ReporterLos Angeles, CA, United States (4E) - Mexican writer, essayist and novelist Carlos Fuentes Macias, 83, died Tuesday at the Angeles del Pedregal hospital in Mexico from a massive hemorrhage. Upon confirmation of Fuentes' death, his loss was mourned immediately by everyone including Mexico President Felipe Calderon who tweeted, "I deeply lament the death of our beloved and admired Carlos Fuentes, a universal Mexican writer." According to TMZ, Stahl's wife, Rose Murphy, filed a missing person's report in Los Angeles on Monday citing that she last saw her husband on May 9. The actor had been frequenting the Skid Row area of downtown LA recently, TMZ notes.
