American Hard Rock Duo at Eastside Events Center on February 1st
LAS VEGAS – American hard rock bands Great White and Slaughter will perform 1980s hits and more at the Eastside Events Center inside Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel at 5255 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, Nev. on Friday, February 1, 2014 at 8:30 p.m.
Great White, who formed in Los Angeles in 1977, gained popularity during the 1980s and early 1990s. The band released several albums in the late 1980s and gained airplay on MTV with music videos for songs such as "Once Bitten, Twice Shy." The band reached their peak popularity with the album Twice Shy in 1989.
Las Vegas’ own Slaughter formed in 1988 by lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Mark Slaughter and bassist Dana Strum. The band reached stardom in 1990 with their first album “Stick It to Ya,” which reached double platinum status in the United States. The album had several hits including "Up All Night," "Spend My Life," "Mad About You," and "Fly to the Angels."
