Back by popular demand, the multi-platinum Wilson Phillips circle back to the Eastside Events Center inside Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel at 5255 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, Nev. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 8:30 p.m.
Sisters Carnie and Wendy Wilson are the daughters of The Beach Boys' genius Brian Wilson, and Chynna Phillips is the daughter of The Mamas and The Papas’ John and Michelle Phillips. Wilson Phillips sold more than 5 million copies of its debut album, which was propelled by its gold singles "Hold On" and "Release Me.” Both reached No. 1 and "Impulsive” reached no. 4. "You're In Love," returned the group to the top early in 1991.
In 2010, the trio reunited with original Wilson Phillips producer Glen Ballard for its first-ever holiday album, “Christmas In Harmony.” The album featured the single "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day," returning the group to success 20 years after its breakthrough album.
In 2012, the momentum continued for the trio with the release of “Dedicated,” a new studio album of covers of The Beach Boys and The Mamas and The Papas records. The women also starred in “Wilson Phillips: Still Holding On,” a TV Guide Network reality show documenting the group’s adventures in and out of the recording studio.Tickets start at $17.95 and can be purchased at www.eastsidecannery.com/entertainment/schedule or by calling the Eastside Cannery box office at (702) 856-5470.
