English rock singer-songwriter Paul Rodgers to perform his bluesy and electric soulful rock at the Eastside Events Center inside Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel at 5255 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 8:30p.m.
The solo artist, who also is well-known for his success in the 1970s as a vocalist for the bands Free and Bad Company, has had international success for decades and is one of music’s most distinctive vocalists. Paul Rodgers has written and recorded some of rock’s greatest hits, released 27 records and sold 125 million records.
Rodgers’ songs can be heard in the Oscar Award winning movie “American Beauty” as well as “Wayne’s World” and “Top Gun.” Other hits include No. 1 single “Hey, Hey,” No. 2 on the rock charts “Hammer of Love,” “Feel Like Making Love,” “Can’t Get Enough,” and “All Right Now.”
As a Grammy nominated solo artist, he has worked with Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Roger Daltry and Alice Cooper, Jeff Beck, Charlie Watts, blues great Buddy Guy and more.
In 1999 Paul Rodgers won the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the Los Angeles Music Awards Association.
